All who choose to compete in the PURO ¡SLAM! must swear by the following
code of honor. Those who cannot follow this code of honor and who cannot
keep the peace are advised to get lost in a forest preserve where grizzly
bears and coyotes can take care of you.

POETS: Do you promise to honor SLAM rules and to respect SLAM as a peaceful
place for all-out free speech and friendly competition? Do you promise to
respect this house by not violating SLAM or anyone here?
